You new role as Senior Analyst – Alliances and Offshore Sales will see you support the commercial development, analysis and performance of Qantas’ global alliance partnerships, including Joint Business Agreements, codeshares and interline arrangements. This role provides high‑quality market insights, commercial modelling and analytical support to identify growth opportunities, optimise partnership performance and contribute to Qantas’ broader commercial and network strategy. You will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and global partners, supporting alliance development initiatives and governance requirements.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct commercial, financial and competitive analysis to support alliance growth strategies
- Build analytical models, dashboards and insights to inform strategic decision‑making
- Evaluate new and expanded partnership opportunities, including financial, network and customer impacts
- Support partnership governance, performance reporting and regulatory documentation (including ATI requirements)
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activity and network developments
- Analyse Joint Business, codeshare and interline partnership performance and identify optimisation opportunities
- Prepare insights and materials for senior stakeholders and partner engagements
- Collaborate cross‑functionally and support strategic projects while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a commercial, analytical, strategy or aviation‑related role
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial and commercial modelling
- Ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights and recommendations
- High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving capability
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proven experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability, with a proactive and adaptable mindset in a fast‑paced environment
