PAY: $45-47/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance.

Hybrid role requiring onsite work 3X/week.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to support data-driven innovation in formulation and product development.
  • This role will focus on analyzing complex formulation datasets, developing predictive models, and creating intuitive visualizations that enable scientists and cross-functional teams to make informed decisions.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with formulation scientists, digital teams, and other stakeholders to transform experimental and operational data into actionable insights that accelerate product development and optimization.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience using data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental data analysis.
  • Experience working with scientific, laboratory, or formulation datasets is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or materials science industries.
  • Familiarity with formulation science, experimental design, or product development processes.
  • Experience working with laboratory information systems (LIMS), digital lab platforms, or R&D data environments.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted analytics and advanced modeling techniques applied to scientific datasets.
