Videographer

This role involves capturing dynamic short-form video and photo content at a major industry expo on Long Island. The assignment is on-site for approximately five hours on April 6, focusing on documenting the event’s atmosphere, networking moments, and the professional headshot experience for attendees. The content will be used to showcase the energy of the expo and behind-the-scenes moments for social media platforms. You will be responsible for filming interactions between attendees and the headshot photographer, capturing candid moments, and ensuring a comprehensive visual record of the event’s highlights. Editing is not required; all raw media must be delivered promptly after the event.

Deliverables

• 50–80 short video clips (5–10 seconds each) capturing expo environment, networking, and candid moments
• 5–8 attendee interview clips highlighting experiences and reactions
• Several longer video clips (15–30 seconds) for in-depth coverage
• 30–50 high-quality photos of the event, attendees, and headshot sessions
• B-roll footage of the expo floor, headshot setup, and behind-the-scenes activity
• Delivery of all raw media files immediately after the event

Requirements

• Proven experience capturing live event content for social media
• Proficiency with modern smartphones or cameras capable of 4K video
• Ability to shoot vertically oriented content optimized for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
• Strong eye for candid, engaging moments and storytelling through visuals
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, crowded environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with attendees
• Reliable method for transferring large media files post-event
