Ongoing freelance role 3 to 4 shoots per month

I’m looking for a freelance content shooter / camera operator to help capture ongoing social media content across for my brand.

This role involves filming

• body conscious, street style short-form vertical video in public for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• social media photo content
• content using both iPhone and Sony mirrorless camera gear

This is an ongoing freelance opportunity, with potential for 3 to 4 shoots per month. Each shoot will generally run for 4 to 6 hours and may involve multiple locations across Melbourne and the CBD, so reliable transport is required.

Ideal candidate will be

• reliable, punctual, professional and have transport
• confident filming in public spaces
• comfortable working in busy environments such as streets, shopping centres, elevators, and other public locations
• adult industry / SW friendly
• confident shooting on iPhone
• have experience with Sony mirrorless cameras or a willingness to learn quickly
• detail-oriented, creative, and able to capture flattering, engaging, social media content
• discreet, calm, and non-judgmental due to the nature of the work as it sometimes draws attention due to high visibility so you must be unfazed by stares and attention (if you are easily embarrassed or dislike attention this is not the job for you!)
• confident taking direction in a close and movement-heavy shoot environment
• comfortable filming a female creator in body conscious, street style, lifestyle/fashion style content

Role details

• Rate: $80 per hour + $50 travel per shoot
• Editing is not required this role is for capturing content only
• All camera equipment will be provided
