JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing, an affiliate of Penn State University and a legislative service agency of the General Assembly, is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support ongoing research and reporting efforts.

Job duties to include:

Assist with the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data
Prepare summary tables and charts for internal and public-facing reports
Literature reviews
Support the development of presentations and written reports

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with Excel, SPPS, R, or other statistical software is preferred
