Tech Lead - Angular/Java

As a Tech Lead, you will oversee the delivery of a team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager within the Product & Tech Team. You will work with the Product Owner to implement team results.

What you will do

• Create high-quality technical solutions and ensure impactful outcomes.
• Address risks such as technical debt, system downtime, and security issues.
• Lead design reviews and maintain accountability for system designs.
• Report on deliveries and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) metrics.
• Negotiate trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality with Product Owners.
• Balance team urgency with burnout prevention and monitor team pace.
• Provide technological context for complex features and guide team members.
• Participate in cross-team projects and knowledge sharing through workshops.
• Proficiently adapt Agile/XP SDLC practices.
• Contribute to recruitment, mentorship, and performance management.
• Set and communicate clear team goals aligned with business strategy, promoting a motivating work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Angular (v10 and).
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and building end-to-end project delivery.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, RxJS, and Angular frameworks (components, services, modules, and routing).
• Experience with Angular performance tuning, reusable components, state management (NgRx or similar), and responsive design.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Java (Spring Boot preferred) for backend development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and JSON-based communication between frontend and backend.
• Familiarity with database concepts (SQL/NoSQL) and writing efficient queries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
