Pre-Health Professions Advisor Academic Advisor

Brooklyn College is soliciting applications for an Pre-Health Professions Advisor (Academic Advisor). Reporting to the Director of Pre-Health Professions Advising, the Pre-Health Advisor supports a comprehensive program serving undergraduates, post-baccalaureates, and alumni preparing for careers in medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, physical and occupational therapy, nursing, optometry, veterinary medicine, public health, and related fields. The Advisor collaborates with faculty, academic departments, and student-support units across the College to advance student preparation and applicant success, including support for the Colleges BA-MD Program. In addition to the CUNY title overview, the duties of the Academic Advisor include but are not limited to: Provide holistic advising on course planning, timelines, and competitiveness for all pre-health tracks.
