Job Description

• Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience   
• Minimum of five years experience programming in RPG ILE/SQLRPGLE/CLP/DDS on IBM iSeries 
• Sterling Gentran for iSeries EDI translator experience

• GXS (Inovis) Trustedlink for iSeries EDI translator experience
• Working knowledge of data communication method such as VAN, FTP, AS2 is desirable
• Hand on experience with ANSI X12 EDI standard and Motor Carrier EDI documents including EDI 204/211, 210, 214 is an asset
• Demonstrated experience working on moderately complex systems and projects 
• Proven ability to multi-task 
• Have ability to work in a team environment as well as independently 
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Experience in or knowledge of the transportation business is an asset
• Ability to organize workload with minimal supervision
• Able to meet aggressive deadlines with well-tested solutions 

 Additional duties include:

• Interacting with customers end users to define requirements
• Clearly documenting program code
• Troubleshooting and debugging existing code 
• Thoroughly testing code and fixes to ensure quality 
• Providing programming support for various interfaces 
• Keeping key contacts informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes 
• Completing project estimates and adhering to them
