Job Description

*Programming automation and controls systems involving PLC *Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up. *Ability to develop and implement standard Engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion. *Perform field service work, such as the installation & commissioning of new company equipment and the repair, modification or upgrading of company's equipment. *Perform electrical & pneumatic troubleshooting on company's equipment and components. *Assist in programming changes or upgrades. *Train operators & maintenance staff in the operation & maintenance of company's equipment.

Experience:

Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens. Experience with logic auto-generation from templates is an asset. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position required. Experience in Packaging, Food Processing Industries is an asset. *High proficiency in AutoCad and Solidworks *ERP or Sequel database knowledge *Microsoft Office applications
