Smith+Nephew is hiring Project Manager.

As a Project Manager within our Global Business Services organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex, high‑value initiatives that support our teams and customers around the world. Based in Wroclaw, this role offers the opportunity to work across functions, cultures and time zones while driving meaningful outcomes.
What you will be doing?
In this role, you will lead complex, global projects from definition through to successful delivery, translating strategic objectives into clear, actionable plans. You will be responsible for building detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, budgets and team responsibilities, while ensuring strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders across multiple time zones, leading meetings, managing expectations and providing clear, structured updates. By closely monitoring progress, risks and dependencies using established RAID practices, you will ensure projects remain on track, within scope and delivered to a high standard.
You will also be accountable for maintaining accurate project documentation, reporting outcomes and driving continuous improvement, while consistently applying the PMO framework to enhance efficiency, quality and delivery discipline.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from combining strong project management expertise with a structured, collaborative approach and the confidence to operate in a global environment.
A Master’s degree and formal project management certification such as PMP, Prince2, Agile PM or a recognised postgraduate qualification in Project Management
Proven experience of at least three years leading multiple projects, with strong hands on delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies within an SSC or BPO environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain governance standards, produce clear documentation and deliver against tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and experience gathering, managing and translating stakeholder requirements into practical project outcomes
