DevOps Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Solutions Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience with containerization technologies, and a thorough understanding of cloud services, especially AWS. This position is best suited for a hands-on professional who is enthusiastic about automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment. What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize the software delivery process.
• Create and manage container solutions utilizing Docker and Kubernetes effectively.
• Deploy, oversee, and monitor applications on VMWare or AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and enhance system operations.
• Implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document processes, configurations, and architecture thoroughly. What you'll need:
• A minimum of 14 years of DevOps experience supporting Linux-based systems on similar contracts.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related fields (five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree). Bonus points if you have:
• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience in documenting and implementing security controls for Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Security Clearance:
• Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.

The base pay range for this position in various locations is $120,500-$221,800 USD. Compensation varies based on several factors, including office location, role, skill set, and experience level. Accenture Federal Services provides a comprehensive benefits package.
