Job description
What you will do:
- Support project management processes, including planning, execution, resource management, change management, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management with appropriate guidance.
- Ensure assigned projects and programs are well-controlled and follow defined standards and governance.
- Collaborate with the PMO to understand and adhere to mandatory governance standards.
- Promote knowledge of professional project tools and techniques through training and coaching.
- Accurately escalate and communicate risks and issues to the project manager as appropriate.
- Provide critical data support, including budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation, monitoring, and risk/issue tracking.
- Keep client and consumer outcomes at the center of operational activities.
- Comply with relevant regulatory obligations and organizational policies and procedures.
You will report into the Change & Programme Lead.
What you will bring:
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals: planning, execution, resource management, change management, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with governance standards and methodologies.
- Ability to deliver data support, including budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation, and monitoring.
- Strong communication skills, including advice to stakeholders and effective escalation of risks/issues.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Examples of process improvements motivated by your input.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment (preferred).
- Confidence with common project management tools (experience with MSP, ServiceNow, Power BI, Jira is desirable but not essential).
