Job description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead Agile SAP development efforts, including ABAP reviews and customer support.

  • Design and implement scalable SAP solutions, focusing on Project Systems (PS) and integrations.

  • Coordinate technical discussions across development and middleware teams (e.g., CPI, Solace).

  • Act as a technical expert for requirement analysis and stakeholder communication.

  • Ensure timely, high-quality project milestones from go-live to hyper care.

Educational qualification:

Bachelor/ Master’s degree

Experience :

Total Exp: 10 - 14 yrs

Relevant Exp : 8 +

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in SAP ABAP coding and debugging.

  • Deep understanding of the SAP S/4HANA PS (Project Systems) module, including customization, API, and BADI.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling) module concepts (e.g., settlement rules, timesheet, hourly rate).

  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, especially Change Management and Solution Documentation.

  • Deep understanding of SAP SOAP web services and OData services.

  • Familiarity with middleware technologies (e.g., API Gateway, Solace, SAP CPI).

  • Basic understanding of project and portfolio management tool structures (e.g., Planisware).

  • Understanding of related software applications such as Planisware and Salesforce.

Architectural & Methodological Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF framework, Arc42) with proven decision-making capabilities.

  • Understanding of overall Professional Services processes.

  • Knowledge of intercompany processes (handling of different company codes in one project).

Soft Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders from technical teams to management and customers.

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing development efforts effectively.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
