Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist (Strategic Planning Collector) to join our North American Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing a high-volume portfolio of accounts to minimize delinquency while ensuring the integrity of accounting records through precise reconciliation and reporting.

You will join a global team focused on transformation, where you will work autonomously to generate innovative solutions for complex billing and collection challenges.
 

What You’ll Do

• Portfolio & Ledger Management: Independently manage a month-over-month account portfolio to achieve delinquency targets, while performing general accounting activities including the maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, record, and analyze accounting transactions—such as balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements—ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and compliant with accepted accounting principles.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with District, Area, and Corporate teams to resolve billing disputes and provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing budget variations to maintain a healthy cash flow.
   

What You’ll Bring

• Professional Experience: Significant experience in a call center or collections environment, specifically managing North American portfolios and performing statutory accounting tasks.

• Advanced Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Oracle, with the ability to navigate complex financial software and capital expenditure schedules.

• Analytical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to work autonomously and generate innovative solutions to complex financial problems using independent judgment.
