Job description

Leading application administration, the Application Analyst Lead ensures clinical and business applications perform efficiently, coordinating the team to gather requirements, implement solutions, optimize functionality, and provide technical support and troubleshooting.

Essential Job Function

  • Oversees task assignment and prioritization to meet deadlines, manages work plans and updates, determines escalation needs, and leads teams while ensuring clear communication and coordination across departments.
  • Provides experience and expertise to ensure all aspects of the application integrate with the other cross-functional applications utilized by the organization.
  • Assists in leading and managing projects and/or project tasks.
  • Engages with end users and technical teams, inside and outside the organization, to ensure that applications and third-party systems satisfy clinical and business requirements throughout system development.
  • Performs expert-level consulting, system administration and analysis of end user department workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues as they relate to design and build decisions.
  • Understands and translates the business/clinical functionality into system configuration and workflow validations.
  • Creates, prepares, and runs test scripts to validate applications, integrations, new releases, and user acceptance processes.
  • Documents test results, design, change control, system problems, and internal procedures according to departmental standards.
  • Provides technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex applications.
  • Ensures systems operate efficiently and data remains accurate and reliable, escalating problems as required.
  • Maintains knowledge of new technical concepts and solutions and their application to healthcare.
  • Assists with implementation and support of third-party systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field

Experience

  • Required: 5 years

Licensure/Certification/Listing

  • Required: If applicable, platform-centric certification required.
