Role Description

This is a full-time position for an Associate at DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Giblin, LLP, located in Paramus, NJ. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing counsel to clients, and collaborating with colleagues across practice areas. The Associate will also assist in preparing for negotiations, transactions, and litigation, ensuring legal solutions align with client goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and legal opinions
  • Experience in litigation, negotiations, or transactional work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and teamwork
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Familiarity with New Jersey law and regulations is highly advantageous
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality and client-focused legal services
