Junior Legal Assistant New York, New York Compensation $55,000 DOE

Law Firm Legal Assistant needed to join a major law firm conveniently located near all modes of public transportation. 2025 college grads can apply for this position if you have had "legal experience internships" during your college experience. We also welcome current legal secretaries to apply for this role. This is a junior level position. The legal assistant will be assigned to support attorneys who need coverage on their desks. Responsibilities include answering phones, preparing correspondence and memoranda, client contact, filing, sending client emails, reviewing pleadings, etc. Solid technical skills including MSW advanced functions along with accurate typing are required. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree to apply for this position. Fully paid medical benefits for employee along with generous bonus, pension/profit sharing, transit checks and much more. This is a hybrid role with three days required in the office and two remote days.
