Job Summary
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to support the financial operations of a dynamic Consumer Electronics Retail Operations (CERO) team at a leading global technology company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and providing strategic financial insights that drive business decisions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines. The position involves close collaboration with project managers, legal, procurement, and senior leadership to ensure seamless budget execution and financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive budget management support for Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and operational expense budgets
- Lead annual budget submission process by facilitating discussions with project managers to develop accurate budget proposals
- Coordinate project plan and bid submission processes across Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other key stakeholders
- Maintain ongoing ownership of internal budget files and track purchase order amounts against approved allocations
- Evaluate and identify budget reallocation opportunities for leadership review and approval
- Extract data from ERP systems and prepare monthly budget versus actual reports
- Update financial forecasts with input from various stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive monthly reporting packages for Marketing Development Funds and operational expenses
- Perform vendor purchase order reconciliations to ensure timely invoicing and closure
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects as requested by leadership
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior management review
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large dataset analysis
- Strong financial, budget, and analytical acumen
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations
- Detail-oriented approach with high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities in fast-paced environments
- Experience with ERP systems and financial data extraction
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting related functions
- Proven experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
- Demonstrated experience working with and analyzing large datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related field
