Job Description

Project Manager - Municipal Gov - Fredericksburg, VA will perform:

• Lead preconstruction efforts including walking jobs, scoping work, and developing detailed line‑item estimates
• Manage a steady flow of pre‑negotiated projects across civil, interiors, JOC, and infrastructure scopes
• Conduct frequent site visits to maintain quality, progress, and client communication
• Build estimates using tools such as RS Means / Gordian and translate them into contract‑ready documents
• Serve as a direct client partner, ensuring responsive communication and well‑managed project delivery
• Support the development of a new regional office and influence internal systems, structure, and future growth

The Successful Applicant

Project Manager - Municipal Gov - Fredericksburg, VA should have:

• Experience in civil construction, commercial interiors, JOC, or general contracting (estimating exposure highly preferred)
• Ability to scope work, understand field operations, and build accurate estimates
• Comfortable working in an office‑based role with multiple weekly site visits
• Strong client‑facing skills: responsive, punctual, prepared, and confident
• Familiarity with Procore, RS Means, or Gordian is a plus
• OSHA‑10, OSHA‑30, Procore, or First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
