Litigation Associate

REQUIRES BAR LICENSE FOR NJ AND PA

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload, providing support to senior attorneys, and representing clients in various litigation matters. This position offers an opportunity to develop litigation skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and draft memos
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials
  • Manage discovery process and documentation
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Support senior attorneys in case strategy and execution
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Nice to have: Knowledge or experience in Employment Law, Commercial Litigation, or Insurance Defense
