Sr. Software Engineer (Backend)

We're assisting a well-funded startup in the AI organizational space with their search for a sr. fullstack (or backend) engineer. Their product allows companies to create a single source of truth connected to all functional groups in the form of an AI teammate that continually enhances alignment across an entire organization. The role will work a hybrid schedule in their SF office.

What you'll do

• Build and ship scalable backend/platform systems
• Develop LLM agents that integrate with large datasets
• Take ownership in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• Learn quickly and adapt to evolving challenges

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of backend and platform engineering experience
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and move fast
• Experience with Python, AWS, SQL databases, API development Nice to haves:
• Previous founder/startup founding member experience, or intrapreneur experience
• Passionate about solving new and ambiguous problems without clear solutions
• Ability to use AI tools to answer questions and write quality code
• Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, and making sense of large data
