Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects encouraged)
- Exposure to FPGA development is a plus
- Experience with embedded hardware design and low-level driver development is a plus
- Familiarity with motor control systems or power electronics is a plus
- Experience with signal conditioning or data acquisition systems is a plus
- Exposure to sensor interface development is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document system and design requirements
- Develop, simulate, and implement RTL designs
- Support hardware configuration activities such as pin assignments
- Maintain hardware/software interface documentation
- Design and implement communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART)
- Contribute to development of control algorithms for embedded systems
- Assist in hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Support firmware integration, system validation, and testing
- Participate in risk assessments, failure analysis, and root cause investigations
- Ensure design activities and documentation align with internal quality processes and applicable standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with FPGA development workflows and toolchains
- Understanding of RTL design principles (VHDL and/or Verilog)
- Knowledge of common embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)
- Solid foundation in electronics and circuit design principles
- Experience using standard lab equipment for testing and debugging
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Motivated to learn and grow in a team-oriented engineering environment
