Job description

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects encouraged)
  • Exposure to FPGA development is a plus
  • Experience with embedded hardware design and low-level driver development is a plus
  • Familiarity with motor control systems or power electronics is a plus
  • Experience with signal conditioning or data acquisition systems is a plus
  • Exposure to sensor interface development is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document system and design requirements
  • Develop, simulate, and implement RTL designs
  • Support hardware configuration activities such as pin assignments
  • Maintain hardware/software interface documentation
  • Design and implement communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Contribute to development of control algorithms for embedded systems
  • Assist in hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Support firmware integration, system validation, and testing
  • Participate in risk assessments, failure analysis, and root cause investigations
  • Ensure design activities and documentation align with internal quality processes and applicable standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FPGA development workflows and toolchains
  • Understanding of RTL design principles (VHDL and/or Verilog)
  • Knowledge of common embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)
  • Solid foundation in electronics and circuit design principles
  • Experience using standard lab equipment for testing and debugging
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Motivated to learn and grow in a team-oriented engineering environment
