Job Title: Internal Solutions Engineer II
Location: Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 12‑month Contract to start with potential extensions (W2 Contract)
We are looking for an Internal Solutions Engineer to build and support internal tools and data solutions used by sales and marketing teams. This role focuses on using code and data to solve real business problems, automate manual processes, and improve decision‑making.
This is a hands‑on engineering role with a strong emphasis on SQL, Python, and data analysis, combined with close collaboration with non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data, or analytics roles
- Ability to independently write SQL queries (joins, filters, aggregations required)
- Hands‑on experience using Python for data analysis or automation
- Experience working with data stored in cloud‑based data warehouses
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, business‑driven environment
Note: Must be able to confidently write working SQL queries and explain your approach.
Nice to Have
- Experience with advanced SQL concepts (e.g., window functions)
- Background in data analytics or reporting
- Exposure to marketing, advertising, or performance analytics
- Experience working with large or complex datasets

- Build and maintain backend and light frontend components as needed
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, analytics)
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities independently
- Support ongoing operational requests while contributing to larger projects
- Candidates should be comfortable writing SQL and Python code in real time.
