Job description

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a mobility technology organization, is seeking a skilled Energy Systems Integration Engineer. This role supports early-stage vehicle development by helping define how key energy systems—such as the battery, charging, and thermal systems—must perform in next-generation electric vehicles.

Job Duties

  • Support integration of vehicle energy systems, including battery systems, BMS, charging, thermal, and high voltage safety systems
  • Evaluate how subsystem changes affect overall vehicle energy performance
  • Conduct system-level trade studies to compare technical solutions
  • Help define system requirements before hardware is released
  • Interpret engineering data and simulation results to support design decisions
  • Gather inputs from multiple engineering teams and consolidate findings
  • Build technical presentations to communicate results to leadership

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of automotive product development experience
  • Experience working with electric vehicle energy systems
  • Understanding of BEV or HEV vehicle energy architectures
  • Experience supporting system architecture or early-stage product development
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and requirements
  • Experience building technical presentations based on engineering data
  • Experience with high voltage battery systems or Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Familiarity with high-voltage bus architecture or EV charging systems
  • Experience with vehicle energy flow modeling or performance analysis
  • Experience conducting system trade studies
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
