This 12-month position within the Radiologic Technology program works under the direct supervision of the Program Director. The role shares responsibility with other program faculty for overseeing the clinical education of student radiographers during clinical practicum courses and for teaching assigned didactic courses.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be clinical instruction (60%) and
teaching/didactic (40%). In addition, the successful candidate will also engage in curricular design, disciplinary research and scholarship, mentoring and advising students, and service to the program(s), school and/or profession.
Work will be performed primarily on the UW-Milwaukee campus and Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee or Ozaukee campus. Occasional remote work is an option.
Anticipated start date will be July 1, 2026.
Attendance at clinical sites is required for this position, therefore the following requirements must be met:
• 10 Panel Drug Screening
• Flu vaccination
• Varicella vaccination
• Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR) vaccination
• Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (TDaP) vaccination
• Hepatitis B vaccination
• TB Skin Test within the past 12 months
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR Certification

The School of Biomedical Sciences and Health Care Administration offers programs in Laboratory Based Programs, Diagnostic Imaging Programs, Health Care Administration Programs, and Health Sciences Programs.
Radiologic Technology Program
The Radiologic Technology program is a rigorous four-year undergraduate program that requires completing four or more semesters of preclinical coursework to prepare for the two-year professional and clinical training.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is expected to be $65,000-$85,000 depending on the level hired (Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor) on a 12-month basis at 100%. Final salary offer will be contingent upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated throughout the selection process.
Required Qualifications:
• Two years full-time clinical experience as a Radiographer
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
• Bachelor’s degree
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• WI Radiographer license
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five years full-time clinical experience as a Radiographer
• Experience in supervision, instruction and evaluation of student radiographers in a clinical setting
• Teaching experience
