Scope:
RMA Administrator will coordinate the Retuned Material Authorization (RMA) process and is responsible for assisting in the planning and analysis of products and processes to eliminate future quality issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
▪ Coordinates the RMA (Returned Material Authorization) process including issuing, receiving, analyzing and closing RMAs.
▪ Opening and examining customer returns.
▪ Issues RMA & NAFTA documentation to Customer Service, Quality Engineering (QE), and Customer when required
▪ Using the Quality portal, the administrator receiving various complaints or issues from customer service or other department in which the details must be verified in ERP (work order number, part number, defect code, quantity, etc.)
▪ Tracks RMA and coordinates the return and replacement to customer and remake of boards where required
▪ Documents and communicates internal defects found by Final Inspection
▪ Tracks and reports RMA related data to support Management and QE
▪ Report preparation of KPIs, on-time delivery, performance, defect, and SPC data.
▪ Preparing documentation and entering data for processing credits to customer accounts.
▪ Determining if product is useable in current state or can be refurbished
▪ Preparing reports on unsalvageable goods and monitoring status of product refurbishing
▪ Supports containment activities and supports QE’s throughout the RMA process
▪ Coordinates the request, verification and issuance of information to support the credit authorization process with management and accounting
▪ Prepares weekly and monthly reports to management on RMA activity.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
▪ Knowledge of inspection equipment and MS Office Suite
▪ Assertive, motivated and capable of multi-tasking
▪ Detailed orientated with strong analytical and organizational skills
▪ Ability to work with independently with minimal supervision
▪ Superior written and verbal English communication skills
▪ Above average interpersonal skills
▪ Failure analysis and diagnosis
▪ Procedural documentation capabilities related to the quality function.
▪ Computer proficiency.
▪ Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience:
▪ High School diploma or equivalent with post-secondary, technical or advance course work preferred.
▪ Experience in electronics manufacturing is an asset.
▪ Experience in quality preferred.
▪ 2+ years of experience in printed circuit board industry is essential.
