Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative. This role combines customer service excellence with sales and account management, ensuring seamless experience for our customers while helping drive business growth. This is an entry to associate level role. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can handle customer inquiries, generate sales, process orders, manage client accounts, and build lasting relationships to ensure the future success of RFD Beaufort, INC
Customer Interaction
- Support and report to Channel Sales Manager
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Provide accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and shipping options.
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns and/or exchanges.
- Answering phone calls and emails (questions regarding order status, products, quotes, repair requests) in addition to making outbound calls
- Handle customer needs by providing solutions, ensure that the customer has a positive service experience.
- Provide assistance to customers regarding product usage, care, and maintenance.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers for orders
- Check voicemail and return customer phone calls Inside Sales Duties:
- Update Sales Force regularly
- Actively promote and upsell products to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Identify new sales opportunities by initiating conversations with potential customers through phone, email, or web inquiries.
- Process incoming web orders or purchase orders using our internal systems
- Understand pricing and accurately generate quotes for potential customers
- Generate weekly and/or quarterly reports on sales and product inventory
- Participate in sales efforts by reaching out to leads, offering product recommendations, and follow-up
- Work with the sales team to drive sales and company growth
- Actively participate in weekly sales meetings to (all but not limited to) outline goals, current projects, collaboration with BD and marketing teams, and provide feedback on customer trends and inquires.
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and fostering ongoing business relationships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers in your assigned accounts, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, resolving any shipping or fulfillment issues.
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
- Other Duties As Assigned Expectations:
- In office 8am – 5pm ET, Monday – Friday
- Learn in-house ERP/CRM systems and effectively navigate the platform
- Develop an understanding of our product line, including materials, features, and applications.
- Stay updated on new product releases, promotions, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
- Strive to create raving fans Qualifications and Experience:
- Sales Force Experience useful
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
- Knowledge of tactical gear, outdoor equipment, and/or military/law enforcement products is useful
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
