About This Opportunity As a Strategy Analyst on our Fraud Engagement Team, you will play a key role in shaping enterprise-wide fraud prevention strategies by analyzing trends, identifying risks, and delivering actionable insights. You will support team initiatives by translating complex fraud data into strategic recommendations that inform decision-making across the platform. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate fraud exposure, optimize processes, and enhance mitigation strategies both internally at InComm Payments and externally with our business partners. You will serve as a subject matter expert in fraud analytics, trend analysis, and rule strategies. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, prioritizing initiatives based on risk assessments and organizational goals. Additionally, you will act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, providing thought leadership and clear communication on fraud trends, insights, and strategic initiatives. Preferred location of the greater Columbus, GA area, but open to candidates in the Metro Atlanta area as well with occasional travel to Columbus required. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies that help mitigate corporate and customer exposure to fraud losses while ensuring an appropriate balance between financial/reputational risk and customer impact/friction. Perform deep-dive analysis of ongoing fraud trends, detailing risks, current and potential future exposure/losses, and potential mitigating actions. Implement strategic goals through tactical processes using various tools and resources available and, where needed, create business justification arguments to support acquisition of new tools and resources. Perform due diligence on new corporate products, internal process, and customer procedure. Provide SME knowledge on fraud cases, prevention tools, best practices and reporting capabilities within the fraud department. Analyze fraud data and trends to identify emerging risks, patterns, and strategic opportunities for mitigation Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor fraud exposure and program effectiveness Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership Act as a key point of contact for fraud-related insights, driving alignment across teams and partners Monitor industry trends and benchmark against best practices to inform continuous improvement Assist in building scalable frameworks for fraud analysis, reporting, and strategic decision support Qualifications 2-4 years in Payments Fraud & Risk or other applicable fields College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field Experience working with SQL, Python, and/or PowerBI a plus Prior risk management experience Ability to work with and manage around priorities between multiple teams, acting as a liaison between business and technical resources Excellent attention to detail and a track record of identifying risks within existing and future use cases others may overlook, especially as relates to unique business/product use cases Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple tasks (multi-task, prioritize tasks and work under pressure) with minimal direct supervision.
