SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Multiple Locations (San Francisco, New York, Toronto, Remote) • Full time • Hybrid/Remote

Our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting our rapid growth and ensuring operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial infrastructure while working at the intersection of finance and transformative technology.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our General Ledger team with all processes and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance organization at a high-growth AI company where you can build accounting processes from the ground up in a fast-paced technology environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Support the GL team with comprehensive accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Assist with system implementations and process improvements for accounting infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable accounting processes
• Partner with external auditors and coordinate audit processes
• Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting infrastructure and reporting capabilities
• Take ownership of special projects including process optimization and automation initiatives

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU

• Have a background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) OR strong operational experience at a high-growth technology startup
• Possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• Demonstrate experience with system implementations and process improvements
• Show strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex reconciliations
• Take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
• Have a strong desire to build accounting processes in a fast-paced technology environment
