Job description
The Shift Manager for Cocktail Service will oversee the refined operations of assigned premium areas by ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and maintaining Wynn's highest standards of excellence across each distinguished venue.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and elevate cocktail service staff to consistently deliver sophisticated, personalized experiences that reflect Wynn's luxury brand and commitment to excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, including exemplary responsible alcohol service practices befitting Wynn's luxury establishment.
- Address guest concerns with discretion and professionalism, resolving service matters promptly to cultivate lasting relationships and enhance guest loyalty.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance evaluations on cocktail craftsmanship, presentation, and service delivery, ensuring each offering meets Wynn's elevated standards throughout each shift.
- Manage financial operations with precision, processing transactions and reconciling daily revenue reports with meticulous accuracy.
- Communicate strategically with management regarding operational excellence, staff development, and opportunities to enhance the guest experience and venue prestige.
- Minimum three (3)+ years of progressive beverage service leadership experience, with substantial tenure as a Shift Manager or Bar Manager in ultra-luxury, high-volume establishments or Michelin-starred venues
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required licensing, certifications, and active required work cards
- Advanced proficiency with sophisticated point-of-sale (POS) systems and luxury hospitality management software platforms
- Mastery of responsible alcohol service practices and comprehensive knowledge of all Nevada health, safety, and licensing regulations specific to premium establishments
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership, staff development, and team management within refined, high-stakes hospitality setting
- Exceptional financial acumen with proven expertise in cash handling, revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, and P&L management for premium venues
- Sophisticated understanding of Wynn's standards, discretion protocols, and high-net-worth guest relations
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced responsible beverage service credential; additional sommelier or mixology certifications from prestigious institutions
- Extensive experience in ultra-luxury hospitality, fine dining, or Michelin-starred establishments with demonstrated excellence in service delivery
- Expert-level knowledge of premium and rare spirits, craft cocktail craftsmanship, and advanced mixology techniques
- Proven track record of cultivating exceptional guest experiences for discerning guests and establishing enduring relationships with high-profile patrons
- Experience managing exclusive venues, private clubs, or high-end resort properties
