Bioinformatics Scientist II

Job Description

工作职责：
1.  负责三代ONT或Pacbio测序平台数据分析；
2.  依据客户需求和市场变化，对ONT或Pacbio测序平台应用分析的改进、开发；
3.  结合常用的生物信息分析库，对分子生物学相关的数据进行分析，形成客户的分析报告；
4.  个性化分析工具的研发；
5.  与一定的客户沟通并配合销售进行部分客户的拜访及讲座，对客户关于ONT或Pacbio测序的有关数据分析问题提供专业建议；
6.  能快速定位测序数据处理、分析流程运行、工具配置等环节的技术痛点（如数据质控异常、算法运行报错、结果偏差等），并提供高效解决方案；
7.  协助相关订单的跟踪，Clims系统的优化以及相关的数据统计。

 

岗位要求：
1.  具有生物信息学、分子生物学、计算机或数理学相关专业硕士及以上学历；
2.  有三代ONT或Pacbio测序平台数据分析经验者优先；
3.  具有较好的编程能力，熟悉Perl/C++/MATLAB/R/Python中的一种或一种以上；
4.  熟悉Linux操作系统，具有高通量测序数据项目分析经验者优先；
5.  熟悉常用生物信息数据库，如UCSC、SwissProt、KEGG、NCBI、EBI，了解生物统计学相关知识；
6.  积极进取，有上进心，具备良好的亲和力和沟通能力。

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for data analysis on third-generation ONT or Pacbio sequencing platforms.
• Improve and develop application analysis for ONT or Pacbio sequencing platforms based on client needs and market changes.
• Analyze molecular biology-related data using common bioinformatics databases and generate client analysis reports.
• Develop customized analysis tools.
• Communicate with clients, support the sales team in client visits and seminars, and provide professional advice on ONT or Pacbio sequencing data analysis issues.
• Quickly identify technical pain points in sequencing data processing, analysis pipeline operations, tool configuration, etc. (e.g., data quality control anomalies, algorithm runtime errors, result deviations), and provide efficient solutions.
• Assist in order tracking, optimization of the Clims system, and relevant data statistics.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in data analysis on third-generation ONT or Pacbio sequencing platforms is preferred.
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in at least one of the following: Perl/C++/MATLAB/R/Python.
• Familiarity with the Linux operating system. Experience in high-throughput sequencing data analysis projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with common bioinformatics databases such as UCSC, SwissProt, KEGG, NCBI, and EBI, and knowledge of biostatistics.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
