Job description

Drive the science of human strengths — and put it in the hands of millions.

At Gallup, we believe every person has unique talents waiting to be understood and unlocked. As a product manager focused on CliftonStrengths®, you’ll work where behavioral science meets modern product development, helping translate decades of research on human potential into digital experiences that change how people understand themselves and grow.

This role sits at a genuinely rare intersection of tensions: scientific integrity and product velocity, individual users discovering their strengths and enterprise clients deploying at scale, a methodology trusted by millions and a platform that must keep evolving. The best PM for this role won't find that friction frustrating — they'll find it fascinating and energizing.

You'll work closely with our director of product, who will serve as both a strategic partner and hands-on mentor as you grow.

This is more than a product role. It's a chance to help decode what makes people extraordinary.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the day-to-day product decisions for one of the world's most widely used behavioral frameworks — a platform where what you ship affects how people understand their own potential
  • Partner with behavioral scientists, engineers and designers to translate the science of human strengths into intuitive, meaningful product experiences
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of how strengths are surfaced, personalized and applied, from assessment to action
  • Gather and synthesize customer insights, define MVP scope, and prioritize features based on user impact and strategic value
  • Launch new product functionality that addresses real pain points for individuals, coaches and enterprise clients
  • Manage project timelines, resources and progress in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Communicate product vision and progress to leaders, internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and designers, leveraging technical fluency to drive sound decisions
  • Monitor the broader strengths, coaching and human potential landscape and help define what it means for CliftonStrengths to lead it

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Curiosity about people: You're drawn to what makes individuals tick and excited by the idea that science can help them understand themselves more deeply.
  • Customer-first mindset: You obsess over how users actually experience your product, not just what they say they want.
  • Data-driven instincts: You use behavioral data, research and user insights to guide prioritization and validate decisions.
  • Clear communication: You translate complexity — whether that's science, strategy or technical tradeoffs — into language that moves teams forward.
  • Collaborative approach: You thrive in a product triad with engineering and design, and know that the best products are built together.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years of product management experience including hands-on work across the product life cycle from concept through launch required
  • Familiarity with modern product management methodologies and iterative delivery practices required
  • A track record of shipping features that real users love required
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Washington, D.C., office at least three days per week required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
