Job description

How will you make an impact? 

As D365 engineer for Microsoft D365 in the Workplace Solutions domain you will design, refine and implement modern workplace services backed by Microsoft technology to support and enable the organization’s digital workplace environment for all employees at Metro. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Together with the team and the product manager, you are responsible for the global D365 services 

  • You take care of the configuration and operation of METRO’s central D365 Finance & Operations platform providing workplace service for all employees 

  • Hands-on expertise in Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management, monitoring, and deployment. 

  • Administration and support of MS Portal and integration with D365 applications. 

  • Designing and implementing Logic Apps for automation and integration scenarios. 

  • Managing user access(in MS portal as well), roles, and security compliance across D365 environments. 

  • Driving X++ development and customization, ensuring best practices in performance, maintainability, and scalability 

  • Plan and Update environments with MS One version updates. 

  • Advising and supporting application owners and users with technical queries regarding Microsoft D365 

  • Being constantly on the lookout for new development and trends and evaluating their relevance for our users 

  • Communication & preparation of relevant changes for users 

  • Cooperation with our external service and consulting providers 

  • Identifying and implementing optimization potential to continuously improve the solutions being used. 

  • Responsible for support as well as enhancements in existing product. 

 

 

 

Required key competencies and qualifications: 

  • Profound knowledge in the administration of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations. 

  • Strong experience with LCS, MS Portal, Logic Apps, X++ Development, and user access/security management. 

  • Good knowledge in Azure, REST API and a solid understanding of pipelines. 

  • Solid knowledge of modern Microsoft Platform and Cloud Services (Microsoft D365, Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, Power automate. License management. Compliance) 

  • Overall 8+ years and 3+ years of Relevant experience as an expert for Microsoft D365 

  • High willingness to learn and flexibility with regards to new technologies and topics 

  • Ability to work independently and self-organize 

  • Working collaboratively with various teams throughout the broader organization 

  • Having strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as solid communication skills 

  • Confident, positive, and strongly committed to customer orientation 

  • Good fluency in English (written and verbal)
