The client is an established SaaS company that specializes in helping field sales teams optimize territory management, routing, and customer engagement through data-driven insights and deep CRM/ERP integrations.

With over a decade in the market and a globally distributed team, they are currently undergoing a major transformation toward AI-first software development, redefining how modern engineering teams build, test, and deliver software.

JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer (Staff/Principal level) to join a globally distributed team and play a key role in transitioning the organization to an AI-first, shift-left development model.

This is not a traditional feature-delivery role. You’ll help reshape how software is built, working closely with senior engineers across multiple teams to reduce reliance on manual coding, improve planning and validation workflows, and introduce AI-assisted development practices to drive superior engineering quality and speed. You’ll be hands-on, but your biggest impact will come from technical leadership and system-level thinking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands-on Development: Contribute across the stack (frontend or backend leaning) while driving the adoption of AI-assisted development workflows.
• Process Transformation: Help teams shift toward better planning, AI-assisted code generation, and stronger validation practices.
• Engineering Excellence: Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (shift-left), and observability (logging, debugging, and monitoring).
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to improve delivery speed and overall output quality.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor engineers, specifically guiding them toward full-stack proficiency and AI-enabled workflows.
• Technical Leadership: Challenge assumptions and timelines with strong technical reasoning and promote cross-stack collaboration across web, mobile, and backend teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering with strong full-stack depth.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React (or similar modern frontend frameworks).
• Experience in Backend API development (Node.js or similar) and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of system design and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven systems).
• Expertise in AI-First Development: Hands-on experience using AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) and a strong perspective on validating AI-generated code.
• Engineering Practices: Proven experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to influence without formal authority and experience working within distributed teams.
• Location: Located in Latam with a fluent English level.
