Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Days: Tuesday - Saturday

In this role, you will:
Perform an Array of Molecular Assays including Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Urology and Hematology FISH assays, classified as moderate to high complexity testing by CLIA '88.
May Evaluate and Perform Breast Prognostic Marker, PD-Ll, MMR evaluation (IHC) and Enumeration of HER2 DUAL ISH slides. Must participate in Proficiency Testing (CAP).
Perform High Volume of testing. Laboratory Computer Skills necessary Enter results in to LIS, Perform Equipment Maintenance and Prepare Reagents.
Record determinations and results in the LIS system for review by physician on certain assays.
Enter results manually in the LIS system to completion when necessary.
Process specimens using established laboratory techniques.
Set up and maintain instruments and apparatus required for specified laboratory tests.
Coordinate the preparation of /prepare media, chemicals, reagents and solutions.
All you need is:
Bachelors Degree in the field of Laboratory Science or equivalent under the 1988 Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines of high complexity testing.
Completion of a Medical Laboratory Scientist program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
State licensure
