- Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.
Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to:
- Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features and amenities.
- Evaluate and educate guests about applicable wellness recommendations.
- Ensure facility equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns to Lead Esthetician and/or Spa Management.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Perform preparation work and restock room at the end of each shift.
- Ability to lift and move massage tables and portable massage chairs.
- Promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as any promotions and/or discounts available.
- Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
- Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Available to work in outdoor working environments, with the majority of the time standing.
- Ability to network and engage with guests confidently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- At least one year of experience in massage therapy.
- Nevada Massage Therapy license.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Forbes and/or AAA service standards.
- Working knowledge of spa booking system(s).
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
