What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for purchasing materials and services to meet operational requirements
  • Maintain records and tracking for cost and schedule of all purchased items
  • Monitor inventory and plan accordingly
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Order products and authorize payments
  • Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders
  • Research product and material selections
  • Required to have strong negotiation, problem-solving & decision making skills
  • Proven experience to remain organized, and prioritize work effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator at all levels in the organization
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, production control/material planning, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and/or finance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Work experience in Supply Chain within the Aerospace and Military Defense industry
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Proficient knowledge of basic computer programs (Microsoft Office suite) and advanced typing abilities
  • Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal organization
  • A certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada would be an asset.
  • Supply Chain Certification is an asset.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
