Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for performing routine exercises or follow-up of functional activities (direct patient care) under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Prepares patients for treatment by therapist. <br>
-Assists therapists during therapy. <br>
-Attends and actively participates in team meetings. <br>
-Transfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner. <br>
-Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition. <br>

 

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

College Degree is Health Related Science Preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Good bedside manner.
- Good physical strength and stamina for lifting and moving immobile patients.
