What you get to do:
As a Dishwasher, you’ll maintain the cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils. This is a “gritty” position involving heavy cleaning tasks, handling dirty dishware, and working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment — ideal for someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. The Dishwasher will also sort and remove trash as well as sweep or scrub floors to ensure a consistently clean and safe culinary environment. Wherever you serve, you will:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• This is a physically active role that requires frequent movement throughout the shift; team members will be constantly walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items.
• Work may be performed on wet or slippery floors; safety awareness and proper footwear are essential.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of manual and automatic dishwashing areas
• Loads and operates dish-tray machine.
• Ensure all utensils and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Follow all food safety guidelines
• Ensure dishes and equipment are dried and put away following proper procedures
• Clear and wash all dishes, pans and flatware using an automatic dish machine
• Follow all HACCP/Sanitation guidelines
• Supply front line and kitchen areas with equipment/dishes
• Cleans displays, chairs, floors, trays, and other items in facility
• Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs
• Sort and remove trash as well as sweep or scrub floors.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years old
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand extensively
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions
• Completion of all training, including ServSafe and RCS Responsible Vendor Training
• Food service and/or theme park experience highly desirable
• Must be comfortable lifting and moving racks, pots, and dishware while remaining in constant motion for extended periods,.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment – This is a high-volume role that requires the ability to keep up during peak service times without compromising quality.
• Self-starter mindset – Proactively clears dishes, cookware, and utensils from chefs and workstations without needing direction.
• Strong sense of urgency and hustle – Especially critical during shows, catering functions, and large-scale events where timing is essential.
• Commitment to cleanliness and quality – Items must be not only washed, but thoroughly checked and ready for inspection and immediate use.
• Health and safety focused – Strict adherence to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and required PPE at all times.
• Takes ownership of their station – Maintains a clean, stocked, and highly organized dish area throughout the shift.
• Team-oriented support – Willing to assist with light prep, restocking, and other operational needs to support the kitchen team.
• Flexible and dependable for events and catering – Must be able to adapt quickly during high-demand periods and help ensure operations continue smoothly.

Availability:

• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on business need. Flexibility in working varied shifts; Must be available to work shifts as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 1:00 AM, including weekends and holidays; flexibility for both early mornings and late evenings is required.
• Seasonal Ambassadors must have at least 5 days of unrestricted (12 continuous hrs. within operating hours for the area) availability to include both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.

Compensation:

• 17.75 USD Hourly
