EXPERIENCE

• 12 to18+ Years’ experience in 3GPP L1 eNB/gNB Software Development, 4G/5G Baseband design, test, systems etc..

EDUCATION

• Must be B. E/ B. S/ B. Tech/ M.S/ME/MTech in EC/EE/CS (Related branches will be considered)
• Strong academic background with excellent oral and written communication.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Given their senior software development background, these individuals are anticipated to rapidly become domain experts from a software perspective.

• Develop specialized knowledge of the existing 5G Baseband Software architecture.
• Provide guidance to teams regarding intricate design issues.
• Conceive various strategies to enhance the current architecture.
• Work closely with other domain specialists.

SKILLS

• Senior developers and architects should possess a deep understanding of various software architecture principles. Additionally, they should have substantial knowledge of RAN domains, specifically Layer 1.
• Experience in feasibility studies and simulation of L1/PHY related features or Packet Scheduler algorithms.
• Should have good understanding of 3GPP protocols like LTE and 5G NR. Should have strong understanding of end-to-end RAN system. Solid understanding of Communications Systems, knowledge of PHY/MAC layers in 4G, 5G.
• Highly skilled in software design, C programming, and C++ programming on General Purpose Processors (GPP) and on Purpose-Built ASIC Architecture.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP radio access standardization of LTE & NR , ORAN split architecture (preferably Radio protocols) , including algorithms and protocols.
• Experience in feasibility studies and simulation of L1/PHY related features or Packet Scheduler algorithms.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP radio access standardization, including algorithms and protocols.
• Extensive experience in developing, systemizing, and testing software for 5G Layer 1/Layer 2/Layer3 protocols.
• Proficient with test methodologies, tools, and simulators at the system and node level.
• Solid understanding of the Linux operating system and optimizing data processing paths using DPDK and Smart Network Interface Cards.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools, such as Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Proficient in using version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and project management tools like Jira.
• Knowledge about agile and lean methodologies.
• Self-driven and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in English.
