- Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.

What You’ll Do
• Lead high-volume, complex purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to support production.
• Manage supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for performance, issue resolution, and service improvements.
• Track and follow up on purchase orders to proactively resolve delays and maintain supply continuity.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead times, cost efficiency, and supplier performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing to support production needs and resolve issues.
• Support contract execution, vendor compliance, and cost-saving initiatives through negotiations and sourcing strategies.
• Mentor and support buyers while ensuring ERP data accuracy across pricing, lead times, and supplier information.
What You’ll Bring
• 5–7+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and strong Excel/data analysis skills.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships independently and drive performance improvements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while managing procurement systems and documentation.
• Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to walk through production or warehouse environments as needed.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
