Mammography Technologist I

Department Radiology_VNA Job Summary Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Required Qualifications - Require Board Certification in Radiology and Mammography. Preferred Qualifications Prefer two (2) years experience screening mammography exams. Mandatory Education Preferred Education Required License and Certs ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech Preferred License and Certs Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
