Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time Sr. Certified Radiation Therapist for Memorial Hospital Shiloh - Siteman Cancer Center, Radiation Oncology ( 1418 Cross Street, Ste 160, Shiloh, IL 62269) Position Details: Day Shift Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday ( 8am-4:30pm) - Off Tuesdays Flexible & able to work off day or switch shifts if needed, not required but preferred. We need someone dedicated to this role and be able to handle a very high-volume department with. Illinois license is a must and therapists cannot start this position without one. Part-Time (32 hours per week) – benefit eligible Prepares patient in CT simulation for radiation therapy treatment, chart prior to start of procedure, delivers complete treatments to patients, & coordinates scheduling Provide excellent care in a fast-paced environment Multiple Physicians and staff Radiology, Medical Imaging, Cancer Care, Radiation Therapy, RT(T), Radiation Therapy & Dosimetry, Radiation Oncology Requirements: Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program Board Certified by the ARRT RT(T) 2 years or more of relevant experience Illinois license Next Steps: If selected to move forward with Interview Process, a Talent Advisor will contact you via email for a screen Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. Responsibilities Prepares patient and chart prior to start of procedure. Delivers accurate and consistent treatments to patients. Completes treatment process and coordinates patient scheduling.
