Position Location This is a remote position. Job Overview The HR Analyst plays a critical role in supporting a data-driven and technology-enabled Human Resources function. This position is responsible for HR reporting and analytics, HRIS administration, system support, and data integrity across HR platforms. The HR Analyst partners closely with HR leadership, HR functional teams, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to deliver accurate reporting, actionable insights, and reliable HR system operations. This role also supports HR technology initiatives, system enhancements, and ongoing process improvements. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties: Reporting & Workforce Analytics Collect, validate, and manage workforce data related to headcount, turnover, compensation, performance, DEIB, and engagement Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to support HR and business leaders Perform ad-hoc analyses to support workforce planning, attrition insights, and recruiting effectiveness Translate data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across systems and reporting outputs Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform talent and workforce strategies HR Systems & Process Enablement Support day-to-day use of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, performance, compensation) to enable efficient HR operations Execute HR processes within systems, including hires, job changes, compensation updates, and organizational changes Partner with HR stakeholders to ensure system workflows align with business processes and employee experience Troubleshoot system issues from a user, process, and data perspective, escalating technical issues as needed Perform data audits and corrections to maintain system accuracy and compliance Support system updates, testing, and enhancements with a focus on usability and business impact Communicate system updates and changes in a clear, user-friendly manner HR Operations & User Support Serve as a key support resource for HR team members, providing guidance on system usage and HR processes Support onboarding, performance management, and benefits processes through effective system utilization Create and maintain job aids, process documentation, and user guidance Help translate HR needs into system solutions in partnership with technical teams Support HR ticketing workflows, ensuring timely resolution and strong user experience Maintain HR communication tools and portals for accuracy and usability Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment of processes and data across systems Identify and drive opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency through better system use Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and vendor coordination with a focus on business outcomes Support a data-informed HR culture through education, communication, and collaboration Provide clear updates on initiatives, system changes, and process improvements Job Requirements Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, or another related degree. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis. (3) years of Human Resources experience exhibiting a broad understanding of HR processes and procedures. (3-5) years of experience in HR analytics, HRIS administration, HR operations, or related analytical roles. Experience maintaining, configuring or implementing HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Oracle Cloud HCM, Workday, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex data. Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with data visualization tools preferred. Working knowledge of a wide variety of HR concepts, policies, practices and procedures, including HR terms and data managemen.Strong communication skills with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP). Experience supporting HR system implementations or upgrades. Experience with SQL, data querying, or advanced reporting tools. Experience in a multi-location, regulated, government-contracting environment or Alaska Native Corporation (ANCs) Prior helpdesk or ticketing system experience. Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
