At Gallagher, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Junior Volume Recruiter to support our high-volume hiring needs and play a key role in building strong talent pipelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their recruitment career who wants to develop their skills in an in‑house environment while working closely with experienced Talent Acquisition colleagues. You’ll support end-to-end recruitment activity across multiple roles at once, ensuring candidates and hiring managers have a positive, efficient experience throughout the process. You’ll work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partner, HR team, hiring managers, and our Global Support Team to help deliver timely and consistent recruitment outcomes. How you'll make an impact Support high-volume recruitment campaigns by sourcing, screening, and progressing candidates efficiently. Actively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, ATS searches, and referrals, building strong and diverse candidate pipelines. Conduct initial screening calls to assess suitability, motivation, and cultural fit. Provide a clear and engaging overview of Gallagher Bassett, our values, and available opportunities to candidates. Coordinate interviews and support offer processes with candidates, hiring managers, and the Global Support Team. Ensure all candidate activity is accurately tracked and updated within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Support recruitment marketing activity and employer branding initiatives. Promote inclusive recruitment practices and support our Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) strategy throughout the hiring process. Use recruitment data and feedback to continuously improve volume hiring processes. About You Some experience in recruitment, resourcing, HR, customer service, or high-volume people-focused roles (agency, RPO, in-house, retail, or contact centre backgrounds welcome). Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with multiple roles open at once. Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with candidates by phone and email. Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn recruitment best practice and employment legislation. A proactive, positive approach and genuine interest in developing a career in Talent Acquisition. The right to work in the UK. 2 days office-based in one of our Gallagher Bassett offices: London, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Blisworth, or Tamworth.
