Our Mercy Emergency Department team consists of 31 physicians, 6 advanced practice providers and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. Mercy Emergency Department – Mercy Hospital South: A 796-bed community, the third-largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area Exciting growth ahead: We are actively expanding the Emergency Department, with construction underway for a brand-new ED.
