Commercial Manager

The role partners with PICs, Design Leads and Senior Associates to ensure projects are commercially sound, contractually robust and well governed. You will be involved early, stay engaged throughout delivery, and help teams make informed decisions that protect both design intent and commercial outcomes.

You will be part of Hassell’s national Commercial community and a key commercial leader within the Brisbane studio.

• 6 + years’ experience in a commercial, contracts or project commercial role within the built environment

• Proven experience supporting complex architecture or infrastructure projects, ideally including:

  - Health, urban transport infrastructure, complex public or institutional buildings

• Strong understanding of consultancy contracts, fee structures and project risk

• Comfortable partnering with senior design leaders and influencing decision-making

• Sound commercial judgement and confidence to challenge constructively

Desirable

• Experience within an architecture or multidisciplinary design practice

• Familiarity with public sector clients and procurement models

• Experience working across multiple concurrent projects
