Pharmacy Technician

Daily Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician:

• Take incoming requests for prior authorizations, for formulary and non-formulary medications, while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity
• Answer prior authorization inquiry calls or/and faxes as well as research and resolve formulary and benefit issues using the appropriate reference material
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Hours for this Pharmacy Technician Position:

First or second shift available

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician License in the state of CA
• 1 - 3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Computer proficiency
