Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality, interactive UI components from concept through delivery for AI marketing platform.
- Build production-ready components with a strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and usability best practices.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems, ensuring alignment with user and business needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to refine and iterate on user experiences.
- Help define, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across applications.
- Conduct and support design validation through usability reviews, performance assessments, and cross-platform testing.
- Develop rapid prototypes using front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, to explore and test design solutions.
- Translate wireframes and design specs into functional, testable, and accessible prototypes for internal and stakeholder feedback.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to assess the feasibility of the design within time and cost constraints.
- Confer with systems analysts, engineers, and software developers to design systems, assess project limitations, and ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Communicate regularly with data processing teams, project managers, and stakeholders to gather insights on technical capabilities, project limitations, and evolving business needs.
- Provide status updates and technical recommendations, fostering alignment between engineering and business priorities.
- Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills.
Requirements
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or a related field, and two years of experience in user experience design for a high-tech company, including:
- Designing and implementing AI-driven interfaces and intelligent product features leveraging LLMs and automation tools to improve user experience, efficiency, and engagement;
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to design and implement scalable, accessible, and performant front-end solutions using ReactJS, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS;
- Utilizing Figma, including component libraries, prototyping, and cross-functional handoff for high-velocity component libraries;
- Applying accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices to deliver inclusive, optimized user interfaces while designing and engineering data-driven user experiences leveraging analytics tools, including Fullstory and VWO, to measure and iterate on UI effectiveness; and
- Translating user research, wireframes, and prototypes into responsive, production-ready code aligned with component-driven design systems.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $160,000 – $169,500 annually. Gradial offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, paid time off, paid sick leave and other employee wellness programs.
