Position Overview
Youth Villages is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Asset and Web Manager to oversee the organization’s website and digital asset library. This role is responsible for managing digital content and resources while leading ongoing website updates and maintenance.
This individual will ensure all web content and digital materials are accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with brand standards. This role also serves as the internal owner of the website and digital asset ecosystem, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with organizational priorities.
The Digital Asset and Web Manager will build and maintain web pages, support digital campaigns, and continuously review and improve content to strengthen performance and user experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Digital Asset and Web Manager:
Manages and maintains Youth Villages websites, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand guidelines
Builds and updates landing pages, blog content, event pages, and campaign-related pages
Supports digital campaigns, including recruitment, fundraising, and awareness efforts through web updates and optimization
Maintains site structure, navigation, page hierarchy, and redirects to ensure a seamless user experience
Monitors website functionality, performance, and security, including plugins and themes coordinating with IT or external vendors as needed
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for website updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
Ensure all web content meets accessibility standards and follows SEO best practices
Manages the organization’s digital asset library, including organization, tagging, metadata, version control, and archiving
Maintains a structured system for digital asset storage and retrieval
Oversees the full lifecycle of digital assets, including intake, review, publishing, updates, and removal
Coordinates with internal teams to gather, review, and publish new or updated materials
Establishes and maintains processes for content intake, prioritization, review, approval, and publishing
Conducts regular audits of website content and digital assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency
Identifies outdated or duplicate content and coordinate updates or removal
Provides guidance to internal teams on web content standards, structure, and best practices
Tracks and reports on website performance using UTM tracking and tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
Monitors user behavior, engagement, and conversion metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Supports ongoing SEO efforts, including metadata, content structure, and internal linking
Identifies opportunities to improve website usability, content clarity, and overall digital experience
Stays current on web, digital asset management, and user experience best practices
Provides oversight and direction to web support staff and external vendors, supporting the long-term management and scalability of web operations
Collaborates with Digital Communications, Public Relations, Creative, Development, and program teams to support organizational goals

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, web management, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in website management, digital asset management, or related roles
Experience with Adobe Photoshop to resize and optimize images for web and SEO required
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, including the Divi theme, required
Experience with DonorDrive or similar fundraising platforms required
Experience with CVENT or similar event management software is a plus
Experience with digital asset management systems such as IntelligenceBank or similar
Experience with digital web forms such as 123FormBuilder or similar
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
Strong understanding of SEO, accessibility standards, and user experience best practices
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS required
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and other server-side languages is a plus
Experience with website hosting platforms such as WPEngine and Digital Ocean
Experience managing large volumes of digital content with strong attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or intranet sites is a plus
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Project Management software such as Wrike
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
